William S. Lynde, DPM, is a highly skilled podiatrist with over 35 years of experience of diagnosis and treatment of foot, ankle, and lower leg medical conditions from infancy to adulthood. He is known for his individualized, courteous and friendly approach toward all his patients at his founding practice, Newtown Foot and Ankle Specialists in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lynde graduated magna cum laude from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, where he was very active in extracurricular activities and leadership roles, and headed several committees. He later received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Philadelphia’s Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, formerly the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency from Jefferson Health, Bucks County Campus, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, where he was recognized for his outstanding and dedicated service. He is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and holds a fellowship with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Lynde is a current member of the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association and American Podiatric Medical Association, and past member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society, the National Podiatry Honor Society, and the Philadelphia County Podiatry Society. Besides being a compassionate and expert podiatric, Dr. Lynde also excels in academics. He was the former chairman of the Jefferson Health and course director at the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association surgical seminar. Dr. Lynde is a current faculty member at the Jefferson Frankford Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center in Pennsylvania and has held faculty positions at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine in Mexico and California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California.
