The Division of Medicaid offers access to health care services for eligible residents in Mississippi. The division provides medical examinations, checkups, follow-up treatment and special care services for children through the Mississippi Cool Kids program. Its program also offers preventive and restorative dental care services, as well as eyeglasses and hearing aids. The division provides adolescent counseling, family planning and mental health programs. The Division of Medicaid operates Mississippi Medicaid Medical Home, which offers regular medical care services for beneficiaries. The division offers non-emergency medical transportation services through LogistiCare Solutions. In addition it provides pharmacy services. The Division of Medicaid is governed by the state of Mississippi.
