Richard is a brilliant architect. His beautiful, ingenious, and efficient design for an addition to our summer cottage solved a vexing problem: How to work within the constraints of our Maine community's strict waterfront zoning and still build a graceful addition that looked natural, complemented the old structure, and maximized our livable space. Given the various required side, rear, and distance-from-the-septic setbacks, and the limited expansion allowed within 100 feet of the water, it was a truly an architectural feat. We couldn't be more pleased with the result, the more so since A) his price was very reasonable and B) we've received countless compliments on it. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of architecture, building, building products and materials, appliances, &tc, and was full of great recommendations. Plus he's a very nice fellow with a terrific sense of humor. Scot Lehigh/Marcia Crumley

Richard did a superb job for my wife and I. We were first time home renovators and were so lucky to have Richard recommended to us. He guided us both through the whole project - in everything from selecting the contractor for a complete gut-rehab project, to choosing the kitchen granite countertops. Richard coordinated the whole project for us, from contractors, plumbing, wiring and HVAC to the external landscaping. We recommend him to you without reservation.

Richard Streetman is a gifted architect who has worked with us on 2 renovations. He has an eye for detail and understands what is most important to the client and how they will use the space. We tried 3 architects in Newton before Richard, and he was the first to understand and work with our priorities, instead of what was most expediitious for the architect. Line of sight and natural light are both important to him, and the end result is wonderful.
