I would recommend Dr hunter to anyone she's great with the animals and all the staff r very friendly wouldn't take my pets any other place

Selina is great in sorting out what to do, but I want to warn you that she is in NEWPORT CENTER, about 15 minutes west of Newport.

My brother recommended Selina Hunter highly. I just went and found that she was really good at helping me decide how to choose what to do when in a complicated problem with my cat. This is something not all vets are good at, and I really appreciate it.

This is by far the BEST place to bring your animals!! Not only are they are cheap, but they work with you for pay and they CARE about the animals they see. My two dogs had a run in with a porcupine and i was really concerned about the cost. I called them and they were not even concerned about what i could pay, they were more concerned about the health of my dogs. I brought them in and they took all the quills out of the dogs, gave one of my dogs shots and did both my dogs nails. When i left i looked at the bill and it was about the price of taking ONE of my dogs anywere else. The animals are their TOP priority and that, to me, sealed the deal. I will NEVER go anywhere but here EVER again!! :D

I have read all of these reviews and agree 100%. I took my dog to Selina after another vet clinic suggested that my dog have surgery. Selina took the time to examine my pet thoroughly and prescribe a medication which enabled my dog to walk within a day without surgery! I will NOT go anywhere else. She is caring and takes her time. She treats her patients as though they were her own. Selina and her staff are great!

I really love Selina and her staff. They are very loving caring and informative about all areas of their practice. I am glad I found her and I feel very comfortable. I was shocked that the vet actually came right out and visited with me and my dog.

Dr Hunter is THE best. I first started going to her when she was in Enosburg. There is no one like her. She has taken excellent care of my four house dogs as well as our sled dog team. When one of my dogs was hit by a car she dropped everything on a busy Saturday and saved my dog. When I came back to check on the dog later that night after surgery I found Dr. Hunter lying down petting the dog. This after having a full day of appointments and a huge emergency she took the time to CARE. She treats your animals as if they were her own. Her Staff is terrific as well. Efficient and friendly and have been with her for years. The office is very clean. Rates are reasonable but I would happily pay more! She is worth it! Thank you Dr. Hunter for all you do! Dr. Hunter & her staff are very helpful and understanding. Selina has been very good with my older poodle for the past year. She is very careful about making quick decisions and trys to work out the best possible scenario for the problem. I appreciate the advice given via phone conversations. The staff treat you like they care and are willing to go the extra mile.

Three words to describe this wonderful Vet: caring, professional and efficient. Her staff was super and took excellent care of our dog.

After much frustration with my former vet clinic, a co-worker strongly suggested Ms. Hunter and I have been going to her ever since. She is the most caring vet I have ever used. She is careful with her diagnosis and so gentle with my little dog. I am never going anywhere but to the Animal Doctor again--ever.

Dr. Selina Hunter is the most caring & thorough vet I have ever known! She makes it a priority to get to know your "family member" & is so thoughtful & analytical without letting time constraints interfere. We look forward to our appointments very much!
