Located in Newport, R.I., Rogers High School is a college preparatory school that serves students in grades nine through 12 and is operated by the Newport Public School System. Its academic curriculum includes art, business education, career and technical programs, English, family and consumer studies, foreign languages, industrial arts, mathematics, music, social studies, science, and physical and health education. The high school provides a wide variety of facilities and services, including transportation, a cafeteria, library, lockers, parking area, study hall, computer laboratories, gymnasium, and student activity and career and college planning centers. It also offers various athletic activities, such as cheerleading, cross country, football, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, track, rifle, swimming, wrestling, baseball, golf, sailing and softball.
