The office staff and Sonogram technician at Dr Rosenthal's office are warm and friendly. Dr Rosenthal is fine for a quick yearly visit. If you have a more complex issue besides needing a yearly Pap Smear consider going elsewhere. Dr Rosenthal is abrupt in nature. I think she has been doing this for so long that she has forgotten what it is like to be a patient experiencing an unfamiliar problem that may seem scary from the patient point of view. So, not the best bedside manner. If you have any PTSD issues you might want to look for someone a bit more gentle. I also did not get the feeling that she took my whole health history into account during my exam and further testing. For a normal healthy woman needing a yearly pap smear, Dr Judi is probably just fine. If you need anything beyond that I would recommend seeing a Dr who takes the time to review your whole health history and shows a willingness to work with your other doctors.
