Peninsula Agency on Aging provides programs in cooperation with other community agencies in Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Poquoson, James City and York counties in Virginia to assist older citizens in independent and productive living. It offers a variety of services and amenities, such as home-delivered meals, group dining, information and assistance, transportation, care coordination, long-term care and caregiver support. It offers various programs, such as the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance, Senior Outreach to Services and Medtran Volunteer Transportation programs. The agency offers various additional services to support the independence and improve quality of life of citizens primarily 60 years and above by advocating, arranging and providing vital human services.
