fantastic sandwiches, packed to go or brought to you table in their unique dining room in a unique Hilton building

TAKE A ROAD TRIP... The girls in my office and I are always looking for a new lunch adventure, so someone suggested we visit the Deli Basket since we had never been before. We work in an enviornment where we do not get out much for lunch so when we do , we are excited. When we drove up, we all sighed as it was just too adorable. We were greeted by the Manager and the owner. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere was quaint and peacful. The chef made all our food with special touches just for us. The experience was unforgettable. It's a MUST GO! Once we finished our meal, it was on to dessert. The coconut cake is a featured cake in The Southern Living Magazine, which is truly understandable as this cake is yummy. We will be asking the Deli Basket to visit our facility at least once a week if not more so we can have that experience all the time. smile...Thanks Tom for a wondeful lunch!.

The first time I ate at the Deli Basket, I had been running around all day and I was starved. I saw it off of Warwick and thought it was cute so I pulled in. It was almost 2:00 and I wasn't sure if they were still open. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the tastefull decor. Sitting at a table was the chef, Tom Jones. He introduced himself and sat me at a tabel. The manager, Adam came in and gave me a menu. They both were very warm and friendly. I ordered the special...crab cake on a bed of greens (because that is what Tom was eating and if the chef likes it, that's good enough for me!). FABULOUS!!!!!!! I don't live anywhere near this area and find myself making excuses to come eat hear. Infact, it is my only favorite restaruant on the peninsula.

The Deli Basket is a quaint and charming restaurant located off of Warwick Bld. in the Hilton area. Mr. Tom Jones is the owner and chef. He is very personable and actually comes out to greet and talk with his guests. His wait staff a gentleman by the name of Adam is just as nice. And an even better plus, the food is absolutely terrific. So come hungy and come prepared to relax and enjoy! Ever since I found this place, I don't want to eat lunch anywhere else! :o)
