We would like to add to the survey that we completed today. Can understand why you feel that local news should appear on the front page of the Daily Press, however, having subscribed to the Daily Press for six years back in the 1970's, we feel that this area has grown considerably and now has a more sophisticated and educated populace that national news should surplant local on the front section - unless the local news is of supreme importance. We would like to see more world and national news reported. Back in the 1970's, whole pages were filled with delicious recipes - some pages are still in my recipe file. Of course, that does date us, doesn't it?
