7 years ago I began my FITNESS JOURNEY after years and years of struggling with my weight and seeing family members struggle with disease and pain from issues with their weight. I decided it wasn't going to happen to me. So, I put my head down and got to work in the gym. I still struggled and couldn't figure out why. The part that was missing was my nutrition. I finally figured that part out and was seeing lots of progress, when I unfortunately was sidelined by a severe neck spinal cord injury that not only required 4 months bed rest but 3 Steroid Epidural injections. The injections combined with the bed rest basically put me back to square one with my weight and I had a lot of muscle loss. As soon as I was physically able to get back on track with my workouts I was back in there giving it 110%. I focused on my diet and everything fell into place with lots of hard work!
