I have been going to this group for approximately 9 years, I would like to comment that I have had knee replacement, cervical spine surgery, lumbar spine, shoulder on both sides a number of times...I find this group to be of the utmost professional as well as their staffing...I must say that I was also glad to hear when Francini was gone...In today's medicine their is "NEVER, EVER"! a reason to tell a patient they need to learn to live with the pain, 100% uncalled for...I would like to add that Dr. Safman is "ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!"...also I understand that doctors are human and things happen, but they need to put that aside their is "NEVER AN EXCUSE" for one to YELL! at a patient, because they have had a hard time. Thank You, Dr's Beyer, Gordon, Safman, Gerken, Rabago and Gazzaniga for all your support and your expertise you are all "NUMBER 1"

I have been seeing the doctors at this facility for almost 20 years. I frequently refer my friends to them too. I have never had a problem with any of the staff. They are friendly, professional, and caring. The doctors and staff are awesome!

I am a patient at this orthopedic office, as is my husband and mother, for years now. There was a problem when Dr. Francini was on staff, but thankfully he's GONE! We are very happy with our back and knee doctors in this office. My husband had knee replacement 4 weeks ago, and is doing fantastic! We have many friend's in their 80's who have had this surgery too, and ALL are completely satisfied with their results. My mother takes epidurals quarterly for an inoperable back problem, and everyone from the office staff to the Surgery Center downstairs are incredible~Very compassionate, and competent.The person doing the previous review needs to try this Institute again~ I'm certain the problem began with....I can't even call him a doctor....."Francini"AND AGAIN...HE'S GONE! (very cold...uncaring...& weird~)do try again. I'd give Newport Orthopedic Institute a 5 star, thumbs up rating~

Just about the most un-patient friendly medical group I have ever been to. They have a reputation of being good medically, however, they are impossible to talk to. I have been given responses such as "sometimes you just have to live with the pain" and "I can order an MRI but I am not going to do anything". After I did have the MRI, it was found that I had a tendon shredded in my foot! I was then told ,"I am not going to do anything. It just needs to rupture. You do not need that tendon." Well, a tendon is connected to a muscle and if there is no tendon then what happends to that muscle? This is one group I will never go back to.
