Dr. Ara Chitchyan (or Dr. C as we all call him) is a PM&R physician. That stands for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Commonly, PM&R physicians are known as Physiatrists and the field is known as Physiatry. Dr. Chitchyan was born in Armenia, during the time when it was part of Soviet Union. He immigrated to United States after completing his Medical Doctor degree in Armenia and Greece. It is here where he learned about Physiatry and completed Residency program at Medical College of Wisconsi
