Tradewind Irrigation is a complete scam. They came out to service me and up-charged me on replacement parts 2 1/2 times what they are worth.

At the first service call I was told I needed to set up an additional appointment to replace an additional 14 sprinkler heads. I went online and found the exact same sprinkler heads they used for $12 a piece in which they had charged me $25 for, meaning they are probably getting them for less than $10.

The day of the service call a tech arrived and I handed him the 14 replacement heads I had purchased. I was notified they could not install homeowner bought heads even though they were the same exact sprinkler heads they supplied me last time for more than double the cost. The tech proceeded to agree with me the up-charge was ridiculous and told me I could replace them myself as it was as easy as changing a light bulb. He offered to show me how and spent 5 minutes with me guiding me how to replace 1 of them. He never specified I was still going to be charged for the service call until after he left and then came back to ring the doorbell to notify me. I could have simply watched an online video and figured out how to change them myself. I would have never agreed to to be charged for an hour for a 5 minute lesson.

The service call rate is $88 and plus tax made it $93.59. I was charged $93.59 for service they refused to give me. I spoke to the manager Mary Ellen over the phone who was rude and could care less. Not to mention I use this same company to winterize my system in which they charge the same $93.59 for 10 minutes worth of work while the tech sits there and blows compressed air through my lines.

This company is a joke and should not be used or trusted.
