Jensen Machine Company in Newington, Connecticut, was founded in 1946 and has provided reliable machining services to various industries in the New England region for more than a half-century. From day one, Jensen Machine has built its reputation on customer service, and that reputation has enabled the company to continue to grow. Here is an example: In 1952, we began making babbitted and bronze bearings, as well as many other steam turbine parts, for Terry Steam Turbine Co. Over the years, Terry was bought by Ingersoll-Rand, then became Turbodyne, and now Dresser-Rand. Throughout these transitions, Jensen Machine continued to produce quality bearings and now makes many of the Terry, Worthington, and Dresser-Rand design babbitted bearings and parts exclusively for Dresser-Rand.
