Excellent facility and great medical treatment for all my animals. My only complain is that their staff can be a tad unprofessional. I have on several occasions overheard staff arguing or gossiping about one another while I waited for my appointment. I have also heard stories from an acquaintance who worked there about the backstabbing and double standards among the various levels of staff. I still bring my pets here for the excellent medical care, but I have to wonder what's going on behind the scenes - are they really focusing all their attention on the standard of care they provide, or are they too busy gossiping and mistreating their employees? Something to think about.

My cat is happy and ALIVE thanks to SNVH. After an emergency surgery, my cat developed a rare condition - Malignant Hyperthermia. This is generally lethal but my cat is still alive! Here is what happened: SNVH always sets a timer to take a pets temp every 5 min post surgery (SNVHs standard post-surgical protocol). They were having a staff meeting but my cat was in critical condition, so they moved the meeting to their glass walled break room where they could watch my cat. At one of the 5 min checks, my cat's temp had spiked to 106F. They acted immediately and reduced her temp before this was lethal. I hope your pet never needs such lifesaving measures but if you live in the Seacoast, this is where you want to take your pets. Many people have told me we are lucky. Perhaps, but the care at SNVH is not about luck... the way they practice medicine saved my cats life. We are eternally grateful to the dedicated and caring vets and nurses at SNVH!

I live in Seabrook and there are 3 veterinary hospitals within a 3 mile radius and I choose to travel 12 miles to this outstanding hospital. Whether my 6 cats need routine annual exams or emergency surgery, this is the only place that I would trust with my "kids". Any questions that I have with medical procedures, I get a call back within a very short period of time. They are also very comfortable explaining any future considerations that might be required. I find this hospital can fulfill all my animal's procedures including ultrasounds. When I had to go to a specialist, I was very happy with the referal. I have had several elderly animals as well as 2 day olds. They assisted me with the total care throughout the life of my animals.

Our pets our children and we want the very best for them. The staff at SNVH are very friendly and the vets are wonderful with my cats. I was offered a tour of the hospital and its impressive -- nicer than many human hospitals with state-of the-art surgical rooms, modern equipment and its so clean! After a vet visit, I always get a follow-up call to make sure the treatment is going well and making sure I dont have questions. They really seem to care and have done an excellent job keeping my furry kids happy and healthy!

If you want the best care available in the area - go here. This is what you want for a pet you love - a real hospital with state of the art care.
We love the staff at Stratham-Newfields! They are wonderful people and treat our pets like they are family (us too!). We moved from Newfields to Brentwood and wouldn't think of transferring to any place closer to our new home. We will continue bringing our 3 pets to Stratham-Newfields for the rest of their lives! Their facility is the best in the state.
