Good Selection, Great Prices; Less expensive than Shaw's. I usually save 25% on my total bill.

I shop at the Market Baskets in Rowley and Newburyport. Newburyport is usually cleaner, has newer carts, and a better selection of ethnic, all natural and gluten free products. My only comment is true of any Market Basket location, CHECK the EXPIRATION date on everything! I often find my dairy and meat products to be short dated or already expired. This can be true at Shaw's as well, I just find it more often at Market Basket. Shaws typically has a better produce selection and much better frozen gluten free and all natural products and Market Basket offers almost none. When I pay $1.29 @MB (standard price) on an item that costs $1.89 at Shaws, I will stay at Market Basket. Lunch meat is around $3.79 at MB while $4.29 @ Shaws, when Shaw's has sales, they do better with pricing, but overall if I compare my bills, I save around 25% by shopping at MB, but if I need specialty items that only Shaws carries, I will go there to pick those items up.
