I provide senior level expertise to help improve the quality of life for couples and individuals. I quickly get to the heart of the matter and focus on problems in the present by helping clients understand how the past has shaped and influenced who they are now. My collaborative style is direct, interactive, supportive and challenging. I guide clients in developing a deeper sense of fulfillment, and relationships with enhanced communication and intimacy. I treat people coping with anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, and difficulties with relationships, family or career. My orientation combines psychodynamic insight with a systems orientation, and skills- based cognitive behavioral approaches. I was appointed to a Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, interned at Boston Children's Hospital, trained at the Family Institute of Cambridge, and am listed in the National Register of Health Providers. I have advanced training with innovative techniques of EMDR and Ericksonian Hypnosis, and trained therapists to teach conflict resolution and stress reduction.
