Head Start of Eastern Orange County provides educational and support services to 3- and 4-year-old children. Its services include child development review, mental health assessment and family advocacy. The agency also provides a meal program and services to children with disabilities. Additionally, it provides transportation services and parenting support and skills classes. Head Start of Eastern Orange County has an enrollment of more than 200 children in partial and full-day programs. The agency also conducts staff development programs and is regulated by the Department of Health and Human Services. Its office is located in Newburgh, N.Y.
