Evansville Christian School is a private school located in Evansville, Ind. Established more than 30 years ago, it enrolls more than 600 students in prekindergarten through grade eight, and is accredited by the state of Indiana and the Association of Christian Schools International. It emphasizes critical thinking, study skills, presentation skills, teamwork, problem solving and organizational skills that help its graduates excel in high school. Beginning in kindergarten, students learn to use computers as a tool for research, analysis, organization and presentation. The educational program includes subjects, such as mathematics, English, computer science, social studies and science. The core curricular activities also include daily prayer, chapel services and Bible classes. Evansville Christian School offers students a wide range of extracurricular activities that allow students to explore a variety of interests, including music classes, band and fine arts, and a variety of sports.
