Established in 1970, Newberry County Council on Aging is a charitable organization. Based in Newberry, S.C., the company offers home delivered meals to frail, homebound seniors throughout the cities of Newberry and Whitmire. It also renders assistance with lighthouse keeping tasks, shopping, meal planning and non-medical personal care to chronically ill or disabled older individuals. Newberry County Council on Aging provides adult health care in the areas of Alzheimers disease and related dementias, developmental disabilities and short-term respite.
