Precon, located in Newberry, Fla., manufactures prestressed concrete tanks for water storage and treatment. Established in 1980, the company s tanks are custom built in the field and readily adapt to a wide variety of applications and conditions. Its tanks are used in reservoirs, clarifiers, digesters and for effulent storage purposes. Precon s tanks are constructed with an impermeable steel diaphragm encased in the wall, which is placed in permanent ring compression. The company maintains field crews that build tanks throughout the United States.
