Owned and operated by Gary Olson and family, the Hitchin' Post is an idea brought on by a real-life need. I'm a horse owner myself, Olson said, I'd owned several trailers and there was nobody local for repairs or service. Prior to opening the Hitchin' Post, Olson worked in the racing business, building drag racers with his dad for 20 years. I'm pretty lucky in being able to turn my hobby into a business first with cars, now with horses.
