The Bowerston Shale Company has been operating as a manufacturer of quality face brick and paving brick since 1929. With plants located in Bowerston and Hanover, Ohio, it has been producing quality clay products for the architectural, commercial and residential markets for over 70 years. The firm's products have been used in the construction of Newark Public Library, The Ohio State University, Kroger Store and Licking Valley High School, among others. The Bowerston Shale Company's vast base of clientele includes Roy Yoder Architects, Inc. and Karlsberger Companies.
