Had flooding in a finished basement during a few storms. Vulcan installed drains throughout the basement. Unfortunately, severe storms resulted in further flooding. Vulcan returned and repaired. No damage in basement since then.

Dont use Vulcan to waterproof your basement. Their expertise is suspect and their customer service, terrible! After installing their system, we got water again within a year. Vulcan advised us to stick a screwdriver in the gap between the floor and wall to help the water drain, and to hammer the sump pit to break up blockages. This did not work. They offer a guarantee that is good for nothing. When you get water in your basement AGAIN, they won't fix it. Contractors and engineers agree that Vulcan failed with their installation. To start, they used no paper or sheathing to keep dirt and clay from clogging the perforated pipe and gravel, forcing the water to rise. They used no connectors for the pipes and didnt install a cleanout in case a problem would arise, which it did. Today, we have water pop-ups all over as well as mold, and it has made our newly renovated home virtually un-sellable. I guess we were naive and believed in their guarantee. Dont let them do this to you.
