- Family PracticeKatie Gallivan is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Cardiology Physicians in August 2022. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2020 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She graduated summa cum laude from Philadelphia University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences where she played lacrosse. Before working in cardiology she gained experience working as a PA in Family Medicine. Katie enjoys caring for patients in both the office and the hospital. She emphasizes lifestyle changes and patient education to aid in treating acute and chronic conditions.

- Internal MedicineDr. Brian H. Sarter has been a member of Cardiology Physicians since April 1998. Dr. Sarter attended Duke University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s Degree in Science. He attended the New York University School of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (Medical Honor Society). He completed his Internal Medicine training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He continued at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania to complete two years of his Cardiology fellowship and did additional training in the subspecialty of Electrophysiology at Hahnemann University Hospital and Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sarter has authored or co-authored over 30 papers in the field of Electrophysiology which have been published in major Cardiology Journals. He is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and American College of Cardiology and a member of the Delaware Medical Society.
- GastroenterologyNick Chappelear is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Cardiology Physicians in 2021. He graduated from Harding University in 2018 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boston College in 2013. Before joining Cardiology Physicians, he worked as a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology in the Philadelphia region. Currently, he evaluates and treats patients in both the office and hospital.
- UltrasoundDr. Micklin specializes in both nuclear and interventional cardiology and had been practicing since 1996 in Charlotte, North Carolina before joining Cardiology Physicians. At the University of Delaware he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and at Hahnemann University he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Societies. He also received a commendation for Superior Performance during his residency at Hahnemann. Some of his clinical responsibilities include nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound. As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Micklin also performs diagnostic cardiac catheterization including intravascular ultrasound as well as stent placement and angioplasty. He has a strong commitment to inpatient and outpatient clinical patient care.
- NeurosurgeryAlex Midolo-Cleveland is a licensed physician assistant. Alex received his master’s in physician assistant studies from the University of the Sciences of Philadelphia. Alex received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Jefferson College, just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to working with Cardiology Physicians, Alex gained a significant amount of experience with Neurosurgery. Currently, his responsibilities in the hospital include assessing patients and providing information to physicians, as well as providing patient education and discharge planning. In the office, he works with our physicians to provide quality care.
