I was interested as a dentist in seeing how Dr Jean G Furuyama DDS uses technology in her office. She was kind enough to have me visit for an over-the-shoulder look-see as she treated several patients. Not only did I see her treat a patient who was terrified of Dentistry with a gentle touch, but her use of the Waterlase to prepare 5 small cavities without local anesthesia was done with excellence.Then it was my turn to sit down and some gum tissue that had grown over one of my dental implants removed and I was amazed to have that gum surgery done without pain by the Waterlase system. Jean is a warm, caring dentist who also prides herself on excellance in dental care and as a fellow dentist, it is my pleasure to give her the 5-Star rating. The bright, tastefully appointed office, with views looking out to the East River boat basin was complemented by warm and efficient staff members greeting the patients and assisting Dr Furuyama in the exceptional dental care she performs.
