Stay far, far away. These guys were scheduled to deliver my furniture today and told me a truck broke down and they can't deliver it until tomorrow-who knows if that would even happen. I'm renting a u haul and picking it up myself!! When they called to tell me it wasn't coming today, the dispatcher mumbled and said very ambiguous things and then causally mentioned they messed up and tried to rush me off the phone. Are you kidding me? Ikea corporate is going to hear about this even if I have to sit on hold for 3 hours!
These guys are awful. Don't even think about using them. They were supposed to show up to construct 21 pieces of IKEA furniture and never showed. No customer service, no one even cared that they missed the appointment. My family and I had to put them all together ourselves in order to by ready for a very important party.
Great delivery guys. Very thorough and helpful. friendly and courteous. especially Chris, driver#9429. Wish I could say the same for Customer service people.
Stay away. Stay FAR away. Unless you actually WANT to lose the will to live. One of the most incompetent and mismanaged companies I have had the misfortune to deal with. Took 4+ hours to get a package picked up from 12 blocks away, the customer service was non-existent and no one takes responsibility for anything.
You've been warned.
This is the worst company I have ever had to do business with in my life. I would not wish their customer service on my worst enemy. They are untruthful, disorganized and unprofessional. I have had a warranty repair order pending with them since December 2010. I have spoken with no less than 25 different people at this place over the past 9 months and the issue is still not resolved. They have lied to me about services, sent wrong parts, sent defective parts, promised to call me back and never did, disconnected me on the phone and caused me to wait for extended periods on hold on the phone. (Doing so again as I type this review for the past 35 minutes!) Do not use this company for anything!!!!!!!! I did not chose them. They have a contract with my warranty company so I have no other choice but to use them. If you purchase a warranty, make sure that Urban Express is not contracted or you too will be screwed!!!! They are worthless and horrible. I cannot believe they are still in business.
