The Children s Village has been working in partnership with families to assist at-risk children to become educationally, economically and socially responsible citizens. The organization operates a residential school that offers educationally enriched programs for youth with behavioral and emotional problems. The Children s Village s residential treatment facility can accommodate up to 14 persons and serves boys from age 5 through 13. The organization also offers the Work Appreciation for Youth (WAY) Scholarship program. Its community-based programs help to keep children and youth from enrolling in residential programs. In addition, the organization hosts various types of events, including dinners, picnic and sports competitions. The Children s Village maintains a location in New York City.
