We've done Huntington, Score, Kumon, and in-home tutoring. We're happiest with Sylvan. Alex never wants to stop going. He wants to go to Cal-Berkeley, and a lot of tutors at the Walnut Creek Sylvan are from Cal, and he is just getting the best role models and encouragement, and it has changed his attitude completely.

The accuracy of Shelly's assessment for reading ability was spot on. She met her preset goals for grade level at the hours prescribed. The results brought her to where she needed to be for school, and more important to me was her confidence and self esteem. Best investment I have made in a long time! The math assessment taken recently was also spot on. Exactly what I would have expected given my experience with Shelly. I have absolutely no doubt that this next 80 hours of math will help Shelly succeed reaching grade level math ability. I am SO grateful for the results that Sylvan has delivered. It will make a huge difference in Shelly's life. One other item. We have a very difficult scheduling issue because of an "unwilling participant". The school has made customizing a schedule so easy, and they are willing to accomodate this challenge. Without the willingness of Sylvan to accomodate this non-traditional schedule, I have tremendous fear that Shelly would be enter
