The New York-based Gefinor (USA) was founded in 1999 as a subsidiary of Gefinor Group, a Luxembourg-based international merchant banking firm that specializes in global asset management, private equity investment and real estate. The venture capital operation of Gefinor (USA) was merged with the Austin-based Inman Ventures in 2002 to form Gefinor Ventures. Gefinor Ventures is an early stage venture capital firm with offices in Austin and New York. It manages more than $60 million funds and provides capital, guidance and strategic support services to early stage companies with disruptive technologies.
