General Info

Dr. Helen Shim-Chang grew up in Huntington, Long Island, and is a graduate of Smith College with a major in Biology and a minor in Religion. Dr. Shim is triple boarded with board certifications in Anatomic Pathology, Dermatopathology, and Dermatology. Her areas of interest include dysplastic nevi, malignant melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancer, photodynamic therapy, non-invasive imaging of dermatologic lesions using reflective confocal microscopic imaging.
