The Home Attendant Program, a part of the New York Foundation for Senior Citizens, provides a range of long-term care services. It serves more than 800 senior citizens. The program includes medical visits for senior citizens in their homes. The Home Attendant Program features health-related personal care, housekeeping, shopping and cooking solutions. The parent organization is a nonprofit corporation that has been operational since 1968. It operates throughout New York and maintains a staff of over 1,200 individuals. The New York Foundation for Senior Citizens additionally offers social service programs. It provides support and transportation services and senior theater enrichment programs.
