The Claire Tow Pediatric Pavilion, a part of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, provides transfusions, intensive chemotherapy and supportive care to children. It houses a day hospital and unit for inpatient care that offers accommodations to children and families during cancer treatment. The Claire Tow Pediatric Pavilion handles more than 24,000 outpatient visits annually. The center maintains advanced teleconferencing systems and also administers a school education program. It operates a lounge, exam rooms, treatment units and waiting areas. The center houses an activity center for recreation that offers books, movies, toys and computers. The Claire Tow Pediatric Pavilion specializes in kidney, eye, adrenal and bone cancers.
