Founded in 1977, Metis Associates is a consulting group, offering research, evaluation, program development and information technology services to educational institutions, government agencies, foundations and community-based organizations. Based in NewYork, N.Y., the group offers community-based programs for children and families, such as prevention of domestic violence and child-welfare-reform initiatives. It also specializes in workforce development, family economic support, education reform and youth-development programs.
