I am the owner of Manhattan Getaways and have run a reputable business for more than ten years. We're highly recommended in guidebooks and have placed thousands of guests in New York City apartments and furnished rooms. This disgruntled guest failed to mention that his wife signed a "non-refundable" credit card form based upon the dates of the reservation. When our company moved them to a new apartment which was of the same standard, the husband (not the wife who signed the credit card) tried to cancel.
