• Unfair Competition
  Obtained summary judgment dismissal of a law suit alleging breach of a covenant not to compete and unfair competition that was initiated in the Commercial Division of the New York County Supreme Court. The suit sought an unspecified amount of damages and a permanent injunction against James Mironchik, a music synthesist by his former employer. Andrew Barrett and Lionella Productions, Ltd. Justice Barbara Kapnick agreed that the restrictive covenant signed by Mr. Mironchik was defective and could not be corrected since it was imposed as a condition of Mr. Mironchik’s employment. • Wrongful Termination
  Harvey has now helped me with two legal matters. One was for wrongful termination, the other a dispute with a landlord. • Severance Agreement
  I was working for a company that was trying to lay me off with out a proper severance. They had an extremely high end legal staff that I thought we could never beat. Harvey was confident personable with me and like a shark went after a fare severance package for me. which gladly we won. After I recommended him to another person who was also laid off by the same company to receive her severance that she won Harvey had to promise NOT to represent another employee being laid off from our “revolving door” company.
