Established in 1936, LaGuardia Arts is a high school that specializes in performing arts and music education. The school serves students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, and physical and health education. LaGuardia Arts also offers classes in Spanish, Japanese, French and Italian. The school maintains an exhibition space, concert hall, theater and art gallery. In addition, it provides various sports activities, including basketball, gymnastics, bowling, swimming and volleyball. LaGuardia Arts technical theater program focuses in the areas of design execution, lighting, costumes and audio production.
