- Duration: 90 min; $490; Kimonos are not simply articles of clothing, but traditional Japanese garments steeped in rich history and worn with a respect for their cultural significance. In this workshop, you'll develop the knowledge and skills to properly dress in a kimono and learn to pay attention to historical and technical details vital to it's wear. Understand the differences between men's and women's kimonos, the various types of kimonos for different occasions, including how and when to wear them. You'll not only gain a deeper appreciation for the traditions behind this important piece of clothing, but you'll also develop an understanding of the culture that created it.
