The Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services is one the largest, nonprofit mental health and social service agencies in the United States. The board serves more than 65,000 individuals in the state of New York. It offers a range of 185 community-based programs and operates residential facilities and day treatment centers. The Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services has been operational for over 100 years. The board has a staff of nearly 2,000 employees. The board offers an in-service training program through the Martha K. Selig Educational Institute. It is a member of the Association of Jewish Family and Children s Agencies.
