Phyllis is an incredibly patient person which is such an important quality in a dog trainer. She is also honest and tells you what you need to know (as opposed to what you would like to hear ;-) I had a problem with my high-strung cocker barking and growling at larger dogs when we were walking outside. Phyllis taught me a treat-based technique which required a lot of time and effort on my part but which paid off wonderfully. I can now take my dog almost anywhere and if he sees a larger dog he is happy and looks to me for a treat!
