I had the worst customer service that I have ever received IN THIS STORE. My co-worker came with me on our break to the store. She was NOT BUYING anything. When we got up to the counter, Rokea was there to assist me. I placed my I.D. on the counter because i was getting cigarettes. She looked at my I.D. and back at me. Then she walked over and grabbed me a pack of new ports that i asked for. Then she asked for my friend for her I.D., stating that it was policy. My friend gave the lady her i.d. but it was expired. So even though she is NOT a smoker and is over 21 they would not sell ME the pack. Then when i spoke to the manager Gregord, he began to apologize and then he walked away to come back and give us an attitude and say that he could not sell ME the pack. I have never been treated with such disrespect from a manager and employee, especially on 5th ave!!! This was handled very unprofessionally. I was not breaking any law, MY ID WAS PERFECT. I would never recommend this Duane Reade.
