- Dental ExaminationWe believe that the road to long-term dental health, comfortable function and a beautiful smile starts with a comprehensive examination. Your initial appointment will give us an opportunity to discuss your concerns and treatment goals, review your past medical and dental history, and conduct a comprehensive dental examination.
- X-rays
- Oral Cancer ScreeningIn our practice, we perform a full evaluation of a patient’s oral health beginning with an assessment of tooth decay and gum condition, followed by an examination of the soft tissue structures inside the mouth, including an oral cancer screening.
- Fillings
- VeneersWhen bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea, or even cigarette stains. For strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy, white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by other restorative options. Because they are thin, light can shine through them and they take on the natural color of the underlying tooth.
- CrownsOur integrated bio-functional approach orthodontic treatment moved the upper teeth out of the way, reducing the TMJ discomfort and the click. We placed porcelain veneers on the front teeth and porcelain crowns on the back teeth to create a more pleasing smile.
- BridgesA Bridge is a custom device anchored to neighboring teeth that replaces one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teeth on either side of the missing one are prepared as Crowns (Caps) to serve as abutments to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth in place. Crowns and bridges are most often made from superior materials such as semiprecious or precious metals, porcelain, or a fused combination of the two. Aesthetics, function, and tissue compatibility are considered when selecting the material most suitable for you.

- Restorative DentistryDr. Sorin’s practice offers a comprehensive approach to aesthetic and restorative dentistry, one that fully integrates health, comfort, and beauty. He believes patients can have it all: a beautiful smile, healthy gums and teeth, and the ability to chew comfortably. What good is a nice smile if the underlying structure–teeth, gums, bones–makes everyday life uncomfortable or in some instances, painful?
- DenturesA Crown (sometimes called a “Cap”) is a tooth-like covering placed over a carefully prepared preexisting tooth. Crowns serve many functions, such as to strengthen, restore or improve the appearance of your natural tooth. For example, a Crown can support the tooth when there is no longer sufficient tooth structure left to place a filling. Crowns may also be used to protect the structure of a tooth that is fractured or broken and can be attached to bridges or dentures.
- Dental ImplantsDental Implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.

- OrthodonticsThe key to successful treatment in this instance was moving the teeth first in order to achieve a result that allowed proper size and proportion of the teeth at the end of treatment. We used orthodontics to correctly re-position the six front teeth and balance the bite to limit the risk of abnormal wear and tear on the teeth. Six porcelain veneers were placed to close all the spaces.
- Invisalign OrthodonticsFor cases requiring more complex realignment Invisalign may be a better solution. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements we plan out for you.
- BracesLess costly than traditional wire braces, aligners are minimally visible — people will never know you’re wearing them.
- Teeth WhiteningRobert Sorin Toothpaste Abrasion We’ve been asked so frequently about the best toothpaste to use we thought we’d republish this post from several years back. Toothpaste manufacturers make all sorts of claims for whitening and brightening. However, those toothpastes...
- Cosmetic DentistryOnce we have gathered all the essential information, we will share our findings with you and discuss the alternative ways we can best help you achieve your goals. Since we believe that cosmetic dentistry is a biological science first, and a mechanical art second, we pay particular attention to signs and symptoms of dental disease. Much like the physician who conducts a physical exam and takes your blood pressure, we listen to what your body
