Ofer Jacobowitz, MD, PhD, FAASM, FAAOA is an internationally recognized leader in the medical and surgical treatment of snoring, obstructive sleep apnea and nasal obstruction. He is dedicated to providing accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, nasal and sinus disorders. Treatment is personalized to the preference of his patients, as appropriate, and may include oral appliances, CPAP, or minimally-invasive office procedures for the nose and palate. For some, he performs advanced airway reconstructive surgery or implantable hypoglossal neurostimulation. I expected a general inquiry about my early experience with my new CPAP machine and was surprised at such an analytic assessment and changes made by the end of our session. I was thankful for such a terrific doctor and encouraged to keep mastering the machine. The doctor was extremely helpful in seeing I needed a better fit. I am glad he is my doctor.
As usal Dr takes so much time with patient really informs and like the fact dos not mind encourages patent to be part of heatlh decisons. Plus he really knows and likes to educate on the importatnce and usage of a pap and even masks to use or not.
I will be having nasal surgery in March and feel very good about the diagnosis and my upcoming surgery.
I had a follow-up visit with Dr. Jacobowitz concerning my CPAP treatment for sleep apnea. I was immensely impressed with Dr. Jacobowitz during my first visit with him. He listened and just had a myriad of information about the solution to eliminating snoring due to sleep apnea. Dr. Jacobowitz is just cutting edge when it comes to his field. Smart, warm, constantly aware of all new treatments, I simply can't recommend him enough. Top drawer all the way.
Dr. Jacobowitz and his staff are very professional and understanding. My questions were answered and trustworthy advice was given.
Dr. Jacobowitz was extremely polite and friendly. I had an ear drainage issue and he was able to diagnose the problem and remediate in a timely manner. He was extremely candid and reassured me that everything would be fine.
He was very patient to listen and perform different test to give the right diagnosis.
The doctor listened to all my concerns and gave me several options on how to handle my sleep apnea. Dr. Jacobowicz so attentive and I didn’t feel rushed and he answered all my questions. It was really awesome.
He was extremely thorough and discussed a detailed treatment plan!!! So happy I saw him!!
The appointment went far beyond my expectations. Totally professional and honest. Going into the city is a nightmare for me but I will have no problem sitting in traffic if I am coming to see Dr. JACOBOWITZ. He led me exactly in the direction I needed to go and I have the utmost faith my sleep issues will dissipate due to his expertise.
