Dr. Michael Florek is an Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM) specialist. He completed residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. There, he excelled as Chief Resident, developing interest in areas like Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Sonography (MSKUS), Functional Medicine, Interventional Injection techniques as well as Regenerative and Orthobiologic Medicine. He is a graduate of Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received the Certificate of Honor for Outstanding Achievement in what is now his specialty. He is the recipient the A. Hollis Wolf national competition. He participated in numerous philanthropic activities, coordinating fundraising events for victims of pediatric cancer. Dr. Florek is passionate about using all the skills at his disposal to collaborate to the broader landscape of Pain Medicine, promoting the study and awareness of non-surgical orthopedic intervention and non-pharmaceutical pain management. The philosophy of his practice is that the body’s natural healing properties can and should be explored when crafting patient’s treatment plans.
