General Info

Helen attended SUNY University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY receiving a Bachelor's degree in exercise science/sports management in 2008. She graduated in May 2011 with Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the School of Public Health and Health Professions of SUNY Buffalo. Helen started off PT school with a growing interest in neuroscience and psychology; however, with the exposure of a wide range of specialties during clinical experiences and practice outside the classroom, she gradually obtained a stronger interest in orthopedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She is very encouraged by the patient-therapist relationship and the incredible effort that is executed by both as a team for recovery and progress. Helen has had experience with a variety of different caseloads including orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, and home care settings. Here at RPT, she believes that she has been given the opportunity to share her knowledge and care for those who have been injured, functionally limited, and disabled. Helen has also had past experience as a personal trainer while pursuing her undergraduate and graduate degrees, which has helped with developing individualized exercise programs for her patients.
