Garry Cowell, PT, DPT currently practices Physical Therapy in an Orthopedic and Sports Therapy setting. As a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, Dr. Cowell specializes in treatment for patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, athletic injuries and pain caused within the workplace. Dr. Cowell received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Touro College as well as a degree in sports medicine from Lynchburg College. Since 2007, Dr. Cowell has been practicing Physical Therapy in both clinical and in-home settings. As part of his commitment to his patients and to the field of Physical Therapy, Dr. Cowell continues to further his education with courses focusing on the neuroscience of pain, manual and manipulative therapy, and fitness and wellness. An avid sportsman, Dr. Cowell was a two-time Track and Field National Qualifier during his college career. He continues to participate in activities such as basketball, soccer, rollerblading, snowboarding, and dancing.
