General Info

Alison McGinnis graduated from Northwestern University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and has been with Finish Line PT since 2011. She is recognized as a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS) through the internationally acclaimed Gray Institute. She attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill for her undergraduate work and competed as a pole vaulter on the varsity track and field team for all four years. Through both her clinical experiences and as a patient herself on multiple occasions, Alison has learned that an effective physical therapist must be not only knowledgeable, but also creative and encouraging. She enthusiastically shares her knowledge of how the body works and her experience in sports conditioning with her patients to help them to recover from injuries and prevent future sports-related injuries.
