The podiatrists at Park Avenue Podiatry Associates, PC provide first-class foot and ankle care in Midtown East Manhattan, New York City. Dr. Scott R. Lurie and Dr. David L. Rossman welcome patients of all ages to our practice. We offer a full array of podiatric services and specialize in complete diabetic foot care, geriatric care and sports injuries. Dr. Lurie and Dr. Rossman are board-certified podiatrists and treat all types of foot and ankle conditions including Achilles tendonitis, ankle sprains, arthritis, athlete’s foot, calluses and corns, flat feet, fungal toenail, hammertoes, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, crush injuries, metatarsalgia, neuromas, plantar fasciitis and warts. Many minor surgeries are handled right in our office under local anesthesia. We are experts in treating diabetic foot and complications such as ulcers and wounds. With our professional staff, we use state-of-the-art technologies to diagnose and treat foot and ankle problems. Non-invasive waves called EPAT can painlessly address heel and foot pain, tendonitis and neuromas. MLS laser therapy uses light wavelengths to reduce pain, swelling and inflammation so tendons, ligaments and muscles can repair themselves. Shock wave therapy, or ESWT, helps heal chronic plantar fasciitis. Ultrasound-guided injections offer precise delivery of commonly injected medications like cortisone and local anesthetics. Excellent from the moment I walked in the office!
I actually went to the office, because he had great review on-line, have been looking for a podiatrist, bad experience with the last one. Dr. Rossman confirm what I already knew I broke my toe . He gave me a cortisone shot and the inflammation went down, I'm not limping, feel great. I'll be back to see him in about 3 weeks, to plan my surgery. The staff is very friendly, the office is clean. I glad I went to see him.
Always takes his time treating me. He never rushes through an appointment. I have been using Dr. Rossman for the last 7 years. I've never had a bad experience. He is the best!

Dr Rossman spent the time explaining my situation. Never rushed me. Gave me a foot exam and then diagnosed my pain. Treatment for 2 weeks and then easy follow-up recommended.. Also said surgery is last resort.

As well as receiving excellent care from Dr. Rossman I appreciated the fact that he was succinct and to the point in all his communications and advice. I also appreciated the fact that I did not have to wait for my appointment as it is difficult for me to get time off from my job and to get out of the office so 'time' is very important to me The front desk staff were fast and efficient as was the technician who x-rayed me.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Rossman. He patiently listened to what happened to my foot. Then he conducted a physical exam to identify the location of the pain. After also doing an X-Ray, he walked me through the image to explain what he saw and why.
Once he diagnosed the problem, he talked to me about proper foot care--he even made a proper foot wrap so that my foot would be supported.
