It works for economic and social development of people, as well as encourages commercial and trade relations among the businesses and economies of U.S.The council s members include the banking and finance, consulting services, consumer products, energy and mining, manufacturing, media, technology and transportation companies. It organizes conferences, private meetings and working group events on various issues, such as finance, economic development and business predictions for government officials, diplomats and academics. The council represents the interests of its members across a variety of business sectors. The Council of the Americas publishes various articles, newsletters and journals.
