The Boy Scouts of America is one of the largest youth development organizations in the United States. The organization s Cub Scouts program includes several activities, such as camping, derbies, outings, service projects, field trips, and blue and gold banquets. Its division, Boy Scouting, offers introduction programs to kayaking skills and safety precautions. The Boy Scouts of America also provides the Project COPE, which is an outdoor activity. The organization offers counseling programs in basketry, veterinary medicine, aviation, engineering and cooking. In addition, it administers Venturing, which is a youth development program for men and women and provides activities, such as sailing, swimming and climbing.
